Superintendent
Mrs. Karen Macpherson
Greetings from the Superintendent
A special hello to the Magnolia School Community! My name is Karen Macpherson, and I am honored and excited to serve as the Superintendent of Magnolia School. I have been part of the Magnolia School family for the past seventeen years. During those years, I have had the pleasure of working as a classroom teacher, a RTI (Response to Intervention) Interventionist, Supervisor, and Director of Curriculum and Instruction and Director of Special Education. My educational career started in the Camden City School District as a Kindergarten and Fourth grade teacher.
Working at Magnolia school has been such a rewarding experience. The teachers and staff are hard-working and dedicated to provide an exceptional educational experience for our students.
Our summer was spent working hard to get the classrooms ready, updating our curriculum common assessments, and learning new technology to improve student learning.
As we look ahead and get ready to open for a new school year, I look forward to continuing our work to make Magnolia a place where students love to come everyday and learn. Our administration, teachers, and support staff are excited about the partnership we share in helping your child to grow. Together, we care about the success of our children and that’s what makes me proud to me part of the Magnolia school community.
Sincerely,
Karen Macpherson
Superintendent
