Supervisor of Early Childhood

I LOVE my job, I LOVE the Magnolia community and I LOVE the students of Magnolia Public School!  I have been in the field of special education for 23 years now. I started my career as a teacher of students with disabilities and then became the Coordinator of Special Education. I have always been fixated on helping students that struggled as well as their familes.  In addition, I love to coach teachers on how to differntiate their instruction to meet the needs of all students.  

 It wasn’t easy for me as a student, or for my son Charlie.  This motivated me to earn my certification as a Reading Specialist.  This is helpful when identifying students with a reading disability. I also love inspiring the district with lots of new literacy intiatives!

Personally, I am the mom of three grown boys,  love reading, going to the dog beach in Longport with my german shephard Carl, and having dinner out with friends.
