State Testing
Overview
3rd-5th grade week 1
Monday April 29th, 2024 Through May 3rd, 2024
Make up - the following week
*Testing will start 1st period (8:47)*
M- Math Units 1 and 2 - 60 minutes each
T- Math Unit 3 - 60 minutes
W - ELA Test Unit 2 - 90 minutes (3rd grade 75 mins)
Th - ELA Test Unit 1 - 90 minutes (3rd grade 75 mins)
F- Make ups
6th - 8th grade Week 2
Monday May 6th, 2024 through May 10th, 2024
Make up the following week.
*6th grade testing will start 1st period (8:47)*
*7th & 8th grade testing will start 2nd period (9:49)*
M - Math Unit 1 and 2 - 60 minutes each
T- Math unit 3 - 60 minutes
W- ELA Test Unit 1 - 90 minutes
TH- ELA Test Unit 2 - 90 minutes
F- Makeups
Science 5th, 8th grade only
May 20th, 2024 through May 24th, 2024
*5th grade testing will start 1st period (8:47)*
*8th grade testing will start 2nd period (9:49)*
M - Science Unit 1 and 2 - 90 minutes
T - Science Unit 3 and 4 - 90 minutes
Students in 8th grade will take their unit 1 test in their second period class. They will take their unit 2 test in their 3rd period class. (the same system the next day with Unit 3,4)
*Specials will not be changed. In some instances in the past the specialist teachers and homeroom teachers were able to switch with different grade levels. For example if 4th grade gym and 2nd grade gym are able to switch and all parties agree this is what we encourage. If it isn't possible because of meetings or another extenuating circumstance then specialist teachers should give the Homeroom teacher a bathroom break and assist in proctoring.
