This is my 13th year as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University (We are! Penn State) & my Master's Degree from Temple University.
I am passionate about providing children with the skills to communicate as well as fostering a love of learning, literacy, and being a good friend. It is a joy to live my passion everyday as a Speech-Language Pathologist!
Some Fun Facts about Mrs. G:
I live with my husband, 5 kids, 4 cats, 4 fish, 2 leopard geckos, a bearded dragon & our dog in an old Victorian house. It was built 117 years ago! I love filling my house with antiques!
I also work at a hospital working on Speech, Language, & Swallowing Disorders. I perform a really cool test called a Modified Barium Swallow Study, where I assess swallowing on X-Ray! You can watch a Modified Barium Swallow on YouTube! Click here to check it out!
Some of my favorite things are the beach, coffee, running, soccer, yoga, reading, doing art projects, & spending time with my family.
I love learning new vocabulary. I am a "Word Nerd" !
I love reading about history & learning about peoples' lives.
Two of my favorite things are eating & talking which is why I became an SLP!
