    DRESS CODE

    Females

    Bottoms     Pants, Docker/Dickie/Capri style, dress pants, shorts, skirts (no mini or slits), jumpers.

     

    ·          Acceptable colors are navy blue or khaki

    ·          No baggy, cargo, or painter type pants

    ·          No blue jeans, denim or denim looking material

    ·          No logos

    ·          No spandex material

    ·          Pants can have an elastic waistband

    ·          A belt must be worn with tucked in shirts

    ·          Pants must be worn securely at the waist

    ·          Shorts or skorts are permitted until October 31 and after April 1; must be of appropriate size and length for the student

     

    Tops       Golf shirt, turtleneck-short/long sleeve, button-down shirt, sweaters (cardigan, v-neck, crew neck, vest)

     

    ·          Acceptable colors are navy blue, light blue, gold, yellow, or white (solid colors only)

    ·          All shirts must have collars

    ·          Chains and necklaces must be tucked in shirt

    ·          No logos

    ·          The turtleneck may be worn under the golf shirt

    ·          No logos

    ·          Long sleeve shirts of school colors or white may be worn under golf shirts

    ·          Gray sweatshirts are permitted over regular shirts. NO HOODIES/LOGO

     

    Foot apparel:     dress, casual, athletic shoes (dress and casual shoes – any color)

     

    ·          Must have back to stay on foot

    ·          Must be tied or velcroed

    ·          Wheels, blades, gliders, etc. are not permitted on shoes

    ·          Boots are permitted from November 1 to March 30

    Males

    Opt-Out Policy

    ·          Families who have religious reasons to not participate in the school uniform policy may “opt-out.” To do this, parents must meet with the school principal to discuss the reasons and sign an opt-out agreement.

    ·          Students who use the opt-out procedure may wear clothes other than the official uniform; this attire will be determined on an individual basis in consultation with the school administration

    ·           Please contact the principal’s office to schedule an appointment for this summer if you wish to participate in this opt-out plan.

    Physical Education

    On days that students have physical education class, students may wear the following:

    ·          Sweat pants. Acceptable colors are gray, navy blue, light blue, gold, yellow or white. (solid colors only)

    ·          Solid white or blue T-shirts

    ·          Solid white or blue shorts

    ·          Gray or school color sweatshirts are permitted. NO HOODIES/LOGO

    If a faculty member deems your child’s attire inappropriate they will be sent to the office and may be given appropriate clothing to wear, which must be returned at the end of the day.  If necessary, students may be asked to call you at home or work to bring them a change of clothing.  Thank you for your anticipated cooperation in this regard.
