NJ License #46TR0005890
Occupational Therapist Registered #992831
I began my career as an Occupational Therapist after graduating from Quinnipiac University.  I chose to specialize in the area of pediatrics in which I have provided Occupational Therapy to children in clinic and school settings since receiving my degree and certification in 1994.  I started my first job in North Jersey servicing children in Bergen County and then children in Passaic County.  After starting our family, we moved from North Jersey to South Jersey.  Once settled South in 2008, I worked evenings at a clinic called Sensational Kids in Burlington County.  As our children entered school, I found a wonderful balance between my career and our family by providing services to children in Camden County while employed by Partners in Pediatrics.  This is my fourth year providing Occupational Therapy services for the children of Magnolia Public School.  I love being part of the Magnolia School Family.

As a seasoned Occupational Therapist, I practice with a strong emphasis on social, emotional and sensory needs of children as they are the foundation for an able body and mind for productive learning and development. I work diligently to provide quality care for children of all ages and abilities.  Some of the services I provide include: evaluations, re-evaluations, direct therapy, and consultation, as well as participation in IEP meetings for all of my students. I love to collaborate with Magnolia's team of educators, administrators and specialists to provide the best care for their students. My students mean the world to me!

When I am not at work, some of my favorite hobbies include reading, going to the beach, taking pictures, and spending time with my family, friends and our dog Jenny.

I am in Magnolia School four days a week. I can be reached via email: karmellino@magnoliaschools.org.  I have a google classroom code: 2mrqbtz and Class Dojo available to communicate with my students and their families.
